Our luscious garden is a centerpiece of the campus, occupying four large terraces at a major campus crossroads between the dining hall, music building, and tennis courts. During the camp season we harvest tomatoes, cabbage, onions, garlic, green beans, potatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, okra, herbs, and more. Campers and staff may volunteer daily in the garden, and many do!

The Farm Arts Camp also organizes many projects in the garden. The philosophy behind the Farm Arts Camp is to support our campers in connecting nature and one's own creative and physical needs. Using plants for dyes, subjects of painting and photographs, or creating textures for pottery, our campers learn to see the beauty in the natural world.

There is constant activity in the garden, from before breakfast until nightfall, and campers are always welcome to visit, observe, learn, and help!
